This project is still under development but areas of research are likely to involve:
Observation and analysis of process of identification, assessment and placement of clients with ESOL needs
Examination of the issue of whether clients should be defined as Basic Skills or ESOL learners
Work with local training providers to support them in the delivery of ESOL provision that meets new Standards and follows new curriculum
