Tower Hamlets College Diagnostic Assessment Packs

At Tower Hamlets College, we decided to produce our own diagnostic assessment activity packs for use at each level Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3 and Level 1+. They were designed to enable tutors to deliver the Listening, reading & Writing assessments as part of one session with the whole group together. The speaking activities are designed to be delivered with students in 2s or 3s. Each skill includes 2 differentiated tasks

These are being piloted by a small number of staff during Term 3.

Each pack consists of diagnostic assessment activities; a cassette; a course assessment record sheet and a guidebook for staff.
