Intensives
A range of intensives were evaluated as part of the Pathfinder project.
- Liverpool ran a 40 hour course for Level 2 learners looking at study skills to support them as they made the change into mainstream provision.
Leap Into Mainstream Materials
East London looked at a fast track academic course and a fast track work skills course. Schemes of work and a report are provided.
ESOL & Workskills and Academic Fast Track
South Thames provided 8 days of basic English at a governement reception centre for asylum seekers leading to a Pitman's qualification in spoken English.
