This resource catalogue is open to all for reference. Loans are available for teachers, teacher trainees and teacher trainers who live, work or study within the boroughs of Central London (Wandsworth, Southwark, Lambeth, Kensington & Chelsea, Islington, Camden, Westminster) or are users of the Central London Skills for Life PDC.

The resources are designed for you to select and adapt to support the needs of your trainees. Some of the resources are very practical and others can be used to stimulate analysis and debate.

QIA Excellence Gateway Teaching & Learning Resources

QIA have made it quicker and easier to access and share National Teaching and Learning Change Programme subject resources (including those produced by the then Standards Unit) by making them available online.

National Research and Development Centre for adult literacy and numeracy - Publications

NRDC's extensive publications catalogue includes research reports and reviews on a range of research projects into the teaching and learning of adult literacy, numeracy and ESOL.

ITT Pilot Resources

During Autumn 2004 nine Initial Teacher Training (ITT) centres started developing models for introducing or improving mentoring practice in their institutions. This initial group was joined the following year by a further and much larger group looking to develop new ways to deal with initial assessment, individual learning plans and teacher observation practice.

The Project has now been completed and the materials developed can be found on this web-site.
