| Description |
Do you want to gain experience? We have many clients at the Centre who need one-to-one support with their English, mostly around listening and speaking, fluency and confidence building. Often clients do not have opportunities to learn English outside of the classroom or interact with a British born person, so this opportunity is really valuable to them. |
| Personal Specifications |
1.Be able to commit at least one hour a week to your client for up to six months.
2.Meet with your client at agreed time and place at or near to the Centre.
3.Be able to encourage and motivate your client.
4.Be able to plan an hours English and/or computer session around the client’s needs.
5.Send monthly progress reports to the Volunteering Coordinator.
6.Participate in a brief Centre induction.

This is a voluteer role but support is offered from the ESOL Coordinator and Volunteering Team and we have monthly gatherings with other teachers. INDUCTION IS ON TUESDAY 17TH AUGUST FROM 10.30AM - 12.30PM AT THE CENTRE. |
