| Description | MATERNITY COVER FOR 11 MONTHS START DATE: 1ST SEPTEMBER 2012 OR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE THEREAFTER FAMILY LEARNING MANAGER BASED IN EARLY INTERVENTION AND PLAY SALARY: PO4 £37,851 RISING IN ANNUAL INCREMENTS TO £40,506 PA INCL. LW FULL TIME: 35 HOURS PW We seek to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic curriculum manager to cover the post of Family Learning Manager for academic year 2012 - 2013. The successful candidate will be able to: • Lead and inspire a team including sessional family learning tutors, a families engagement coordinator and an outreach worker in the delivery of a diverse adult community learning programme that results in outstanding recruitment, retention, achievement and success rates and excellent progression opportunities for learners. • Take responsibility for the planning, management and development of a high quality, responsive and innovative family learning programme across the borough. • Implement and oversee curriculum changes in academic year 2012 – 2013, meeting all Skills Funding Agency requirements and ensuring accountability to the Lambeth Adult Learning Service. • Undertake a strategic role in mapping the effective use of resource and evaluating critically the delivery of the programme, adapting curriculum and project plans as necessary. • Play a part in the continuing development of Lambeth as a cooperative council delivering quality services and tackling inequality.
