Description

Steve Allison Associates is looking for an experienced DTLLS trainer for our expanding teacher training provision. You would lead a cohort of learners through the entire DTLLS programme , delivering workshops at our offices in Finsbury Park, marking learners work, observing learners and carrying out reviews. You would be expected to attend team meetings and one to one support meetings.. Days and times are negotiable.

Personal Specifications

Members of the teaching team must have one or more of the following qualifications or similar: • 7407 Certificate in Further Education Stage 3 • NVQ Training and Development Level 4 • NVQ Learning and Development Level 4 • Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector • PGCE Also required: • Level 2 literacy/numeracy • The ability to embed functional skills into delivery • Assessor’s qualification (ie D32, 33 or V1 or TAQA) Members of the teaching team must: • have at least one year experience of teaching on level 3 and/or level 4 training qualifications in the last two years • be learner focussed • have an up to date knowledge of teaching in the lifelong learning sector • have been through a recent OfSted inspection • have experience of observing teachers/peer observations • Demonstrate the capacity to self reflect and to continuously improve • Be willing to travel to assess or deliver in house courses • Be willing to work Saturdays, Sundays and evenings as required

Pay, Conditions and hours of work

You would be self employed and submit monthly invoices for payment.
