| Description | To teach a beginner class for adults who want to learn English but cannot find a place at college. There are about 10 students in a class and it is held in a community setting. Classes aim to help students learn English for social conversation and to communicate better with doctors, teachers, health visitors etc. | ||||||||||
| Personal Specifications | Qualified ESOL or EFL teacher with experience. Able to commit to teach the programme of classes, two hours once a week. Keep up to date records and report to MHTS. | ||||||||||
| Pay, Conditions and hours of work | It is a voluntary position. Classes are for two hours. Merton Home Tutoring Service provides support, resources and materials. | ||||||||||
