| Description | We are currently looking to recruit a pool of ESOL Tutors/Assessors and Internal Verifiers to assess learners undertaking the City & Guilds ESOL awards at short notice. An ideal candidate would have the teaching experience using City & Guilds ESOL materials for the different entry levels. They must have some flexibility to their availability as our class time varies. | ||||||||||
| Personal Specifications | We are seeking an outstanding ESOL tutor to work with ESOL and Citizenship students. The tutor must be creative, dynamic, and have an interactive classroom experience. The successful tutor must possess a minimum of two years working experience; CELTA certified and or be working towards the relevant DTLLS or equivalent. The tutor must be dependable and have an outstanding background in teaching and assessing or Internal Verifying to City & Guilds specification. The tutor must be familiar with the Adult ESOL Core Curriculum, including Initial and Diagnostic assessments, Individual Learning Plans and Differentiation teaching, ESOL Citizenship, Skills for Life materials including tutor’s classroom paperwork. | ||||||||||
| Pay, Conditions and hours of work | NOTE: Part-time rate of pay per hour is £14.00 - (12 hours per week) Monday - Thursday | ||||||||||
