| Description | You will be responsible for excellent teaching and learning in your specific subject (s) and supporting post 16 learners in the Idea Store Learning. You will work with the Programme and Standards teams to develop a full range of curriculum development for the Idea Store Learning programme of adults and family learning. You will contribute to the promotion of a culture of Idea Store Learning in Tower Hamlets and working to make the Idea Store Learning an excellent provider. | ||||||||||
| Personal Specifications | You will need to have a detailed knowledge of ESOL and professional working experience. A knowledge of teaching mixed ability groups as well as knowledge an understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning. A nationally recognised teaching qualification commensurate with the post or evidence of undertaking appropriate study to gain such qualifications. Registration with the Institute for Learning (IfL) in the appropriate category. Flexible and able to work evening and weekends as required. These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A CRB enhanced disclosure that is satisfactory to us will be a condition of appointment. | ||||||||||
| Pay, Conditions and hours of work | Tutor/Lecturer Scale Point 4 -6 Hourly Rate: £24.13 - £26.35 Unqualified Rate Point 1 – 3 Hourly Rate: £20.78 - £23.01 | ||||||||||
