| Description | EFA stands for English for Action. We provide community-based English Language classes and support to help people obtain the language, knowledge and networks to change their lives and communities for the better. Our courses cover more than English language: they offer training and advice relating to difficulties faced by members of the group. Students are encouraged and supported to take action outside the classroom. | ||||||||||
| Personal Specifications | Essential: - CELTA qualified or equivalent - highly numerate and literate - committed to equality and social justice - omitted to gaining further profession qualifications (DTLLS, DELTA, PGCE) Desirable: - well-organised - lively and enthusiastic - interested in people and their stories - experience of campaigning or organising (community or trade union) | ||||||||||
| Pay, Conditions and hours of work | Two days a week (0.4) £26,000 pro-rata | ||||||||||
