| Description | We are looking for sessional tutors to join our established tutor base. We have a range of opportunities for teaching at Community Education Lewisham, and we deliver learning from three main centres in Lewisham and many offsite centres. Classes are offered both daytime, evening and Saturdays running from 2 hours up to 7.5 hours per week, during term time. We have vacancies in the following subject areas: English/Literacy (evening and Saturdays Functional Skills at L1/L2 ) Maths/Numeracy (day, evening and Saturday Functional Skills at L1). | Personal Specifications | You will have a relevant teaching qualification for adult learners and subject specialism where appropriate and/or proven expertise in your subject area, excellent communication and IT skills as well as a passion for adult learning. These posts are subject to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure. | Pay, Conditions and hours of work | Salary: CEL1 – £26.36 per hr Permanent post (subject to probationary period) Classes are offered both daytime, evening and Saturdays running from 2 hours up to 7.5 hours per week, during term time. | ||||||||
