During the 2010 autumn term, ELT well is offering a range of workshops and resource days for language teachers. These address issues in language teaching that are rarely covered elsewhere and consist of in-depth discussions, and demonstrations of approaches that could be taken.

The workshop titles are:

·         Assessing ESOL / EAL students for dyslexia

·         Including language learners with dyslexia

·         Teaching ESOL/ EAL  to ‘beginners’

·         Using corpora in language teaching

·         Principles of language test design.

Following on from the very successful ‘Discussion Day’ held in April, ELT well is offering a monthly ‘Bring and Share’ Resources Day. These are opportunities for teachers to pick each other’s brains about the best materials and techniques to use for different aspects of language teaching. The topics are:

·        Differentiation

·        Speaking activities

·        Writing activities

·        Using ICT
